Kristy Kerwin Hon. B.A., J.D.
Kristy Kerwin received her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Windsor. Early in her career, Kristy was a caseworker at a legal aid clinic, where she represented and advocated for her clients before the Landlord-Tenant board, the Social Benefits Tribunal and Immigration and Refugee Board. Kristy is both, confident and comfortable, representing her clients before various tribunals.
In law school, Kristy was the recipient of the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Practice Skills Award. She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Law Society of Upper Canada, in good standing. Prior to joining Trianta Longo LLP, Kristy lived in and practiced personal injury law in Southwestern Ontario. She understands the unique demographics and challenges faced by injured persons throughout Ontario.
Kristy is committed to assisting accident victims and their loved ones and ensuring that they have the resources that they require to live the most fulfilling life possible. She has a particular interest in accident benefits, motor vehicle accident cases and slip and fall cases.
Kristy has particular knowledge and interest in mental health. While practicing in Southwestern Ontario, she was a board of director of the local law association, and sat on the board of directors of the executive of a local organization that provided services to youth and adolescence with mental health issues.
Kristy enjoys spending her spare time kayaking, reading, baking and cooking, as well as spending time with friends and family.
