Fabio Longo is a founding partner at Trianta Longo LLP. He completed his Honors Bachelor of Arts degree at York University.  He then went on to complete a Masters degree in Constitutional Analysis at Wilfred Laurier University before obtaining his LL.B at the University of Windsor.

Fabio’s practice focuses on negligence involving personal injury. His practice includes long term disability (LTD) disputes and insurance disputes including business interruption and substantial property loss. In particular, much of his practice involves disputes surrounding the determination of catastrophic impairment in motor vehicle accidents.   He has extensive experience litigating matters before the courts, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Licence Appeal Tribunal, including conducting complex appeals.  Fabio also practices in the area of employment law.

Fabio is passionate about his work and sensitive to the needs of his clients.  He enjoys litigating complex cases and utilizing the law to craft creative solutions in support of his clients’ position. Fabio is retained by other lawyers and acts as counsel for law firms in relation to disputes involving the determination of catastrophic impairment.

Fabio is an active member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization and is a member in good-standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.  Fabio also sits on the Board of Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME), where he works closely with leading medical experts throughout Canada.

When he is not practicing law, Fabio exhibits strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to diverse community projects. He has volunteered his time with at-risk youth and organized different fundraisers.  Over the years, Fabio has sat on the board of directors for not-for-profit and charitable corporations, including a government funded not-for-profit organization assisting individuals with developmental disabilities.  Fabio is active in the Italian-Canadian community and speaks fluent Italian.
